Is there a way to get notified when someone posts
an

answer to your post? Sorry about the spacing but
it's

doing it on it's own? Don't know why.

When you first sign up for notifications, either while posting or browsing
threads, you are asked to verify your e-mail address. The address you enter
must be a real e-mail address in order for you to be notified. However, this
address is stored privately by Microsoft. It is not visible to the Community
or to any third-party groups.

To sign up for notifications when you post a question or a suggestion for
Microsoft, select the Notify me of replies check box in the New Question or
New Suggestion form.

To sign up for notifications when you find an interesting thread, select the
thread that you want to sign up for, and then click Notify me of replies
(above the message pane).

You receive only one e-mail response letting you know that someone has added
a post to the thread you've signed up for. To continue receiving
notifications for the thread, click the Click this link to continue receiving
notifications for this thread link in the e-mail notification. When you click
the link to the thread inside the e-mail message, the thread opens so that
you can read any new information in the thread.

Hope I could help.

Hello,

TS is using Outlook Express to post.

To Bubey: You can use the Watch column in Outlook Express and 'watch' the
thread for changes by clicking on the column for the thread row. When the
thread is changed, the newsgroup name will change to red.

To continue what was said, click under the eyeglasses next to the original
post and you will see the entire thread turn light red with the eyeglass
symbol. When a new message shows up the unread message will be brighter
red.

I use this Message Rule:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the From line contains 'Frank Saunders'
Mark the message as watched

Any time OE detects an answer to a post of mine it turns the newsgroup in
the Folder List red until the answer is read.
