For business purposes to test some software, I have installed a 2nd, older
IDE, HDD in a WXP Pro machine. I have no problems accessing the drive or
recogintion issues in Windows. I will change the drive letter from F to D as
soon as this issue is resolved.
I want to make this 2nd HDD, and all others I might install as D drive after
I'm done with this one, appear as "Removable" as in W98, etc., so the OS will
not access it automatically upon boot(Recycle bin, etal). I really have
researched this in KB, Help, Internet and could use a suggestion. Disk
Management does not seem to offer me this option.
