Hi
Cannot get the question pop-up, so have posted this as a comment..
From boot, the pc no longer goes to profiles log in page, but goes to
windows log in. Once windows logged in, the pc goes to the home page but
then immediately returns to the log in page.........help?? |

Thanks Mark, I can see that fix working if I had an original XP disc.
However, the PC was bought with the software pre-installed. I dont have a
boot disc...
I also suspect that the drive may be infected with a virus, the pc is my
sons and he "confessed" to finding a virus when he saw things going wrong,
previous to the "log-in" problem...hey - ho, I suppose it is a trip to the
local pc mechanic. My son will have to do without his World of Warcraft fix
untill after the new year.
Also thanks for the link, I can see the website may prove useful in the
future.
