The IRS has added a new line to the top of the new W2s. This makes the form
one line too large to print two forms to a page. I tried changing the paper
size to legal but it still only allows one form per page. I have been playing
with all the settings and so far I can get the top form lined up but the
bottom form is one line too high. Adding the extra space between forms causes
the bottom not to print at all. What can I do? Both top and bottom margins
are at the minimum allowed. Headers and footers are zero.

I had them mailed to me from the IRS.
I ended up leaving the line off and doing a second pass with the word
processor to add the ssn.

Hi Dennis,

Sounds like you have found a work-around.

Was hoping I could download the form.

I doubt that would work but I may try later in the year since I found a work
around. What was strange was even when I set the paper size to legal it still
did not fit.

Like you say, strange, that setting paper to legal size didn't help.

I mention Font size because all margins seem to be the same, however an
addition line has been added, something has to shrink.

How about converting to PDF and then print to fit?

www.primopdf.com is a good little freebie.
