I have an XP and internet access. My father has a '98 and no internet access.
I want to connect to his computer so I can pick up text docs to email for
him.
His computer has info about using either dial up or hyper terminal to
connect remotely with another computer.

Of the two, which is the best way to accomplish this task?
Would there be any conflicts between the two the way there are when trying
to use back up disks to install info from '98 to XP?
If dial-up is recommended, how we set up ID and password, or is that not
needed?
Is there any special setting for the computer ('9Cool answering the 'call?'

All help and advice is appreciated.
