This is now about my 5th XP installation which over time develops the
nasty habit, that opening the Explorer's Search dialog starts taking
forever (i.e. >30 seconds).
What can cause this? What kind of bit-rot or plugins or false registry
entries or whatever can cause the system's search dialog to take that
long to open???
