It has been a long time I almost didn't know how to get started!

My problem is, I have 3 computers and one of the older ones went through a
system crash and so it was formated then XP sp1 was reinstalled but
activation is hampered by a message that says that the number of times used
to activate had run out. Being that it is an older unit (that I was trying to
set up for my son for Christmas,) what can I do to set it up
