Scenario: A user had marked files to be available Offline from a
network drive that was mapped to the letter Z.
That network drive doesn't exist anymore, so he disconnected the
network drive; but has mapped another network drive using the same
letter Z:, and intends to mark folders offline there too.
Problem: in the Synchronize window he still sees the files from the
former Z drive. Since those are not needed anymore he'd like to remove
them from this window permanently.
Steps already done:
He has visited the Offline Files tab from the My Computer window and
deleted all his offline files; however he still sees the old Z drive
in the Synchronize window.
Ideally, one should remove the "make available offline" flag by r-
clicking the folder and unticking it. However that step was not done,
and cannot be done now that the offline files have been deleted and
that the old Z: network drive is no longer available.
Goal:
To remove the old Z drive from being listed in the Synchronize window.
(Start->All Programs>Accessories>Synchronize) |
