Hi Gerry,
I *think* that I have sorted the issue out. I uninstalled the DivX
AVI video codec and installed the libavcodec version instead when I
installed FFDShow.
Since then I've not had a single BSOD but I won't count my chickens
just yet. I'll run the system as is for a week or two - perhaps
longer - and let you know if it's stable with this codec installed
and has no more BSODs.

I have posted my error report,
RQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Technical Information:
*** STOP: 0:000000A (0x00000017,0x0000001G,0x00000000,0x80502392)
Begining dump of physical memory and so on and so forth
a week ago. I still have the problem. Video, not flash video from a web
browser but all other, makes the system crash. I cannot get into any games
because I have the same crash.
Please advise me as to how I can resolve! |

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right click on
the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties,
Hardware,Device Manager. If yes what is the Device Error code?
Try Start, Run, type "sigverif.exe" without quotes and hit OK. What
drivers are listed as unsigned? Disregard those which are not checked.
Does the Stop Error occur during the boot process or later?
What specific games are involved?
