Sending to abuse @ microsoft.com is pointless. That's not what domain abuse
addresses are for.

Tom please do this:
Right click on any of my posts and select Message->Block Sender. I'd
appreciate that.

KUDOS. But what was reported?
A copy of the post was sent with this message --

f'ups set to here:

Thanks Xandros, that's what I wanted to know. Unless you parsed the
actual Headers of that message, MS was the wrong place to send it. In
reality MS has nothing to do with these groups other than maybe provide a
little server support. The proper place to report abuse to is the
*abuser's* ISP or the one above that one. The trick is not to send it to
the abuser, so that his ISP will kill his accounts.
It's also a waste of time to copy such info to so many places. That's
why I set f'ups on this. You should have trimmed out the groups yourself.

If you'd like some links to learn how to read Headers, just ask and I'll
post some for you. Or you can research them on your own too.

Pop`

Or I can continue to do what I did.

Thanks! You just solved in 10 seconds what I have been spending countless
hours trying to find with no luck. Thanks again!

If I try to use the Windows XP Picture Task - "View as Slide
Show" - this feature does not work anymore

any ideas why?

Also when I double click a jpeg - the Windows Picture and
Fax Viewer does not work

Again any idea?

You might want to try the following:
Go to Start -> Run and enter cmd.exe in the Open box. Click OK.
Enter the following at the command prompt

regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

Hit the enter key.

Go back to a folder that contains image files and see if the
Slide Show and Picture and Fax Viewer are now available.

Good luck
