|
|
I use Vista, IE7 and Windows Live Messenger 8.1. I was able to add and share
pictures with a contact in my list and am now getting an error message. For
some reason, WLM keeps shutting down, indicating an error. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled and done a repair.
I can drag a photo to the message box and add it to the conversation, but I
can not add it to the contact name to open a sharing file.
My contact created the initial file and she can see her files and a couple
of old ones I added but she can not see the newest ones I added. She sees
24, I see 41. If I click on the add files button on the conversation page it
allows for me to create a new folder, but nothing opens. If I look at the
File Sharing folder from my documents I can view all the photos.
On the Tools / Options / File Sharing tab I have checked both boxes, and I
have attempted to "Add" the contact name to the Sharing Folders box. I click
apply and then OK. I go back in to that tab and the contact name has been
"removed".
I am signed on as the administrator.
Don't know what else to tell you, or what else to try.
