Autotext disappeared from under the Insert menu

The AutoText option (or selection or whatever it’s called) disappeared from
my MS Word Insert menu.

Does anyone know how I could restore it to the Insert menu (even if I have
to completely re-create all the autotext text snippets)?


Any suggestions/ideas/references to literature explaining what to
do and why..... would be much appreciated.

Do you have any toolbar customizations?

If not, do Tools > Customize... > Toolbar tab > select Menu Bar > click on
Reset...
