Repair I.E. in WIN XP.

Hi,

I was planning to use "Repair I.E." Previously I have gone to START |
CONTROL PANEL | ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS | and selected | INTERNET EXPLORER |
REPAIR.

I cannot find I.E. in Control Panel. Was this a feature of WIN 98SE only?
In any case how can I "Repair" I.E. in WIN XP SP2?

Running the sfc /scannow command may replace screwed up files, but sfc.exe
does nothing to reregister those files that it replaces. Sfc.exe does not
invoke regsvr32.exe.

Try these.

Start | Run | Type: iexplore /rereg | Click OK

/rereg should reregister all .dll files used by Internet Explorer.

The iexplore /rereg command only works for Windows XP SP2.

If that doesn't help, try these commands in Start | Run.

regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 mshtml.dll
regsvr32 browseui.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll

If that doesn't help, try this.
