As a user of Windows since 3.0, I find it so frustrating to receive an error
message, then to research the cause and not get an answer. Mainly what you
get when you Google your error is many forums of every one talking about the
same problem. One after another tags on I am having the same problem but no
solution. And if you try and use MS Knowledge Base and do luck out with the
problem, probable causes and possibly a solution that one usually is so
complicated of a solution to follow.

And here is my suggestion

1) MS Tech's should monitor the forums and give us an answer. I mean MS
would not be where it is today if it was not for us, the end user, the buyer
of their product.

2) Assign every error message a DARN NUMBER that correspondes to the
particular OS i.e. XP-PRO-#xxxxxxxxx or Vista-Home-#xxxxxx, this way when we
go to MS Knowledge Base or Google the XP-PRO-#xxxxxxxxx the error can be
found, identified. MS can write the error messages into the OS, why not
assigned it a DARN NUMBER. Everything has a number or a why of identifying
nowadays, called BAR CODING or a Serial Number for a couple.

3) Now with todays technology, why not when you find the XP-PRO-#xxxxxxxxx
at MS Knowledge Base, just like a web page works click on the steps to
resolve the problem. I mean I think there are downloads that are
downloaded, then install and check for a virus or other problems and correct
them. Hmmm a self fixing computer.

It gets old to encounter an error, must shut down the program, too bad if
you were not able to save your work first, then a window pops up and asks you
if you want to report the DARN PROBLEM....YES and FIX IT TO while your at it.

And what the heck is Debug for, sounds like a word associated with fixing to
me. I debug my house of bugs, rodents and other pests.

And if you visit http://www.webopedia.com/ and type in Debug, the definition
is "v.) To find and remove errors (bugs) from a software program. Bugs occur
in programs when a line of code or an instruction conflicts with other
elements of the code. "

HELLO MC MICROSOFT FLY!!!!!

End of this story.....Firedoc
