recently i upgraded from win 98 to xp using the up grade version. not having
started tech school yet i didn't realize i needed to backup first. now i
can't find backup tool . have tried to find it on the install desk, no luck.
talked to system manufacturer, no luck. can someone tell me if i have "no
luck"

If you upgraded without formatting your drive, then all your data are still
there.
If you formatted the drive, then your data are gone.
At any rate, it's too late to backup now...
but for the future...I recommend not using any specific software...
all you need do is burn all your important stuff to cd's or DVD's |

If you install MS Live ONe Care and connedt an external USB drive of 75 GIG
or more you can backup automaticly and never lose your DATA files again. |
