Keith Ledger Dead at 28 from taking a cocktail of prescription drugs.

Authorities found six different prescription drugs in Ledger's
apartment, including ones for insomnia and anxiety and an
antihistamine.

http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/showbiz/article-23436011-details/Coroner+rules+Heath+Ledger+died+of+accidental+overdose+from+deadly+cocktail+of+six+different+pills/article.do
"Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the
combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam,
alprazolam and doxylamine," medical examiner's spokeswoman Ellen
Borakove said in a news release.

The drugs are the generic names for the OxyContin painkiller, the anti-
anxiety drug Valium, Xanax, an anti-anxiety drug, and the sleep aids
Restoril and Unisom. Hydrocodone is another name for ibuprofen."

More Americans die from taking a cocktail of prescription drugs than
from any other single cause. The modern I just want to have fun and
party generation of Americans are just plain mentally ill and
suicidal. Are you trying to kill yourself because you are stupid?
Or, are you just numb in the brain-pan from non-stop around the clock
partying?

Keith untimely death was only surpassed by the death of the 20-year-
old son, Daniel Smith, of Anna Nicole Smith who had the distinction of
dying at the age old age of 39.

http://naturalhealthperspective.wordpress.com/2007/05/14/anna-nicole-smith-dead-at-age-39/#more-15
"The death of Anna Nicole Smith at the age of 39 has been highly
publicized. Undoubtedly many people see no rhyme or reason as to why
some people live or die. To them someone dying at the young age of 39
is perfectly normal. This blog is dedicated to educating the public as
to the real value of natural health."

Congratulations Keith! Fabulously successful, you managed to join the
long list of morons who were totally unable to deal with the normal
stresses of life. And, whose insanity was being enabled by the drug
peddlers, commonly referred to as Shrinks. The medical establishment
is profiting from the stupidity of people with more money than
brains. Are you a victim of the Quackery of the medical
establishment?

Anna Nicole Smith did not learn anything from the death of her son,
Daniel Smith. Keith Ledger obviously learned nothing from the deaths
of the Smiths. Have you learned any lesson from their deaths?

Wrong.

Hydrocodone:

"Hydrocodone bitartrate is a phenanthrene-derivative opiate agonist
that is used as an antitussive and analgesic agent. Hydrocodone is a
hydrogenated ketone derivative of codeine. Hydrocodone bitartrate
occurs as fine, white crystals or crystalline powder and is soluble in
water and slightly soluble in alcohol. Hydrocodone polistirex consists
of hydrocodone with a cation-exchange resin copolymer complex of
sulfonated styrene-divinylbenzene. Hydrocodone bitartrate and
hydrocodone polistirex are currently commercially available only in
combination products."

Ibuprofen:

"Ibuprofen is a prototypical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent
(NSAIA). Ibuprofen is commercially available as the acid and as the
potassium salt. Ibuprofen is a racemic mixture of 2 optical isomers.
In vivo and in vitro studies indicate that only the l-isomer of
ibuprofen has clinical activity. However, the d-isomer, which is
considered clinically inactive, is slowly and incompletely (by about
60%) converted to the l-isomer in adults; the degree of such
conversion is believed to be similar in children. It also has been
suggested that the d-isomer serves as a circulating reservoir to
maintain concentration of the active drug. Ibuprofen occurs as a white
to off-white, crystalline powder having a slight, characteristic odor
and is practically insoluble in water and very soluble in alcohol. The
apparent pKa of ibuprofen is about 4.4."

Note the last sentence of the Hydrocodone paragraph. The "combination
products" include Ibuprofen. There's a long list of others though. The
idea of the combination is so that nanny can prevent us getting high,
somthing you'd doubtless approve of.

So, you are saying that the medical examiner is a wack-job who is
totally incompetent?

Thank you for pointing out the typical stance of the Science Geek.

Science Geeks are all against wasting time money on vitamins, but the
number of Geeks advocating the reckless use of both legal and illegal
drugs are legendary.

You have my condolences Science Geek!

I just ran across this and had to laugh. Not at Heath Ledger's death,
which is sad, but at Gohde's cluelessness about it, including his
inability to even get the name right. Not to mention his inability to
get the facts right.
