|
|
I connect my ipod via USB to a Windows XP WMC, I sync, buy and listen to
music with no problems. When I'm ready to exit iTunes I eject the ipod
through iTunes, I then close iTunes and finally click on "Safely Remove
Hardware". I disconnect the USB cable from the computer and I get a BSoD.
What can be causing this? I go into the dump file and it tells me it could be:
Probably caused by : MXOFX.SYS ( MXOFX+492b )
Anybody has any ideas or solutions?
Thank you

First hit in a search engine, says MXOFX is from a Maxtor One-Touch install.
I don't know how that info helps you, except to say it might not be an
Apple problem. As an experiment, you could try uninstalling the Maxtor
software, then run your test case again of trying to remove the iPod.
