Hi,

I have the router configured for the appropriate port and the other computer
is VPNed into my location, but even when i try to connect, the connection
just hangs on "Attempting to connect." The windows firewalls are not turned
on. Is there any other config that needs to be looked at? The log files have
nothing in them.

Sorry, since this is VPN, you should try telnet port 1723. Or use PPTPclnt
and PPTPsrv tools.
