I am wanting to buy an XBox for my nephew and I was wondering what one would
be the best and how much they are? |

The best kind of Xbox is the Xbox 360. It is $350. Game Systems from other
companies are, the Playstation 3.That is $400. Another one is the Wii, which
is $250.

The best depends on how much you want to spend. All the Xbox 360 systems
are good, some are better then others. They all play the same games, and
are capable of everything with the right parts. A Regular Premium 360
system should be good for most people. You defiantly what a 360 with the
HDD!(Hard Disk Drive) There's a Arcade version out now for cheap, but has
no HDD, just a Memory Card, and they will up quite fast, and after you buy a
couple a HDD would have been the better bargain. With having the HDD, it
allows you to play the older Xbox games if you want also, and leaves lot of
room to download content from Xbox LIVE. From extra game content, to Movies
and TV shows, and lots of other things, that just isn't possible with a
Memory card, except the most basic of things.
The wireless controllers are also really nice to have. Plus you get most of
the cables you need. Now if you got the Elite system, the HDD goes from 20
gig's to 120 gig's and it's black, but other then that, it's the same.
There's the Halo Edition also, but it's pretty much the same thing as the
others.
The Wii I think of as the Wii Sports player, because really most of them
that's all they are used for. To play the Included game. It seems to be
the fad right now, but most gamer buy it, play it a little and then get
bored of it. If you like Nintendo games with Mario and stuff, then great,
it's the same old thing, it's basically a bit better game cube with a new
type of controller. Doesn't support HD, Online is pretty poor. Nintendo is
not selling a lot of 3rd party games with the system. For having more
systems out there in the 360 now, it's latest Mario games didn't sell a
fraction of what most popular games on the 360 sell at, let alone even
remotely come close to the sale numbers from Halo 3.
The PS3, is basically a Blu-Ray movie player!!! With a couple exclusive
games that are just OK. Online is better then Nintendo, but far short of
Xbox LIVE. Games keep being delayed for it. Final Fantasy won't even come
out until at least December of 2008! If your thinking about a PS3, I would
wait for another price drop and wait until late next year when there's
enough games to make it worth wild to own one. Maybe by then the new Rumble
controllers will be included with the system and games out to support them.

First of all Nintendo's online is not poor. You can vote on things like "Do
you have a pet" for example. The Wii is not just a little better than a Game
Cube, but way better! Go to mywiistory.com to see how good it is.

Oh boy, you can VOTE for stupid things. Are you kidding? It's a slightly
better Gamecube with a new controller that's really not all that Accurate,
but good enough for Wii games, with a primitive Online service. Just look,
all you could do was brag about Voting of lame things. Do I have a Pet?
Who the hell cares. That excites you? I guess you do have low standers for
the Wii Sports player. I've seen the Wii in action, I've seen the so
called online garbage. Oh boy, it's even more over hype then the iphone.
Talking about great marketing. All the noobies that don't normally play
game consoles are buying them up, but it's not selling GAMES. They play
Wii sports on it with their friends and then it sits around collecting dust
most of the time. If your a regular gamer and have a Wii, your buying a few
games, but mostly playing on the other systems, more then likely a 360, but
maybe the PS3. 360 online is so far over and above Wii's online, it's not
even a competition, the Wii hasn't even left the gate, but hey at least you
can VOTE on the Wii. HAHAHAHAHA Sorry, but you did it to yourself.
