system restart when cd introduced

hi,

for the last 2-3 days, everytime what I put a cd or dvd into optique drive
the system restarts and after boot a message tells me that windows has
recover from a serious error. the system log says this:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: System Error
Event Category: (102)
Event ID: 1003
Date: 12/17/2007
Time: 2:19:33 PM
User: N/A
Computer: PETITMONSTRE
Description:
Error code 1000000a, parameter1 baf75000, parameter2 00000002, parameter3
00000000, parameter4 80539c0c.

Since it's related to the CD drive, I would assume you have a driver related
issue, try looking at the cd drive manufactors web site and see if they have
a newer driver available, be advised that xp doesn't need a driver to use a
cd drive.
and needs DVD codecs to read a DVD

It was a program dvd43 that was the problem
