I have a couple Windows XP Pro computers connected to a Linksys router. One
of the computers is sharing a label printer and a deskjet, both are connected
through USB. The deskjet runs through a USB hub accross the room.
Everything had been working fine for quite some time. Just recently I
started having issues printing to both printers from the remote computer.
The local pc will print fine. I have been able to get the remote computer to
print to the label printer ok and also the deskjet if the document is not
very large. Just a simple text document will print. If it contains a small
image of only a couple hundred KB it will hang and not print. It does spool
on the computer sharing the printer but is extremely slow. Is it a spooling
problem on the local printer or a network issue? Thanks

Have you tried restarting the spooling service? Can you have the spooler save
on a partition seperate from the operating system - I am assuming its on the
same partition.

Yes, I have restarted it as well as rebooted the computer. It is on the
system partition and currently that is the only partition.
