I have just purchased the new version of Word 2007 and I am running Windows
Vista. I customise the menus in Word 2003, by dragging a new menu onto the
button bar and then adding macros to the new menu. I cannot see a way of
doing this in the new version, does anyone know how to do this or some
programming that would bring up a menu to add macros to please. I would be
so grateful for some help with this.

You can't do that in 2007, but see

Thanks very much for the infomation. I can't see this is an improvement,
because I customise menus very much, so I think I will be using my old
version of Word. The menu I had created in the old version and copied my
normal.dot into the new version, does come in under Add Ins and can be used,
but it a long way round to do it. I wondered if there was any programming
that would bring up a menu ? I will have a look at your page. Thanks
again.

It has been a while since I looked at Graham's page and so I don't remember
if he has a link there to this not.

You can't bring up a menu in Word 2007 because it doesn't use menus. You
can create your own Tab. See:
