Will Not Allow To Download Live Messenger

Hi I am very new too all of this, however the last few days my messenger
hasn't worked so I did a destructive restore today and it will not let
me redownload it and says it has something to do with my internet
connection, yet here I am typing away here... I have no firewall on, I
even turned my anti-virus off... someone help me! Its the only way my
mum gets to see her grandson!

We will need to know the exact error message you're seeing as well as which Windows version
you're using.

As a "quick fix", you might try downloading and installing direct from the Microsoft
Installer file here:
