I just used the thesaurus in Word 2007 to words that have a similar meaning
to thethe word "information," but what I got back makes no sense. I got "in
order." Is something wrong here? |

Dunno if there's something wrong but...
"In formation" may well have "In order" as a synonym.
Is there a clue there?

'pologies for adding to my own post.
Just checked in Word 2003:
Information > Synonyms or
Information > Thesaurus or
Information > Look Up > Thesaurus UK
In order
In sequence
In turn
In a rank
In a row
Information > Look Up > Encarta:
1. knowledge...
2. gathered facts...
3. making facts known...
4. organised computer data...
5. formal criminal accusation...
6. Same as directory enquiries...
Curious - and you might like to try "insight".
"Invest" is disappointingly mundane.
