I'm using Office 2003 and I understand that the Office spell-checker is
supposed to work across all Office products.

Whilst my custom dictionary, CUSTOM.DIC, is fine in Word and Outlook,
entries in my exclusion dictionary, MSSP3EN.EXC don't work in Outlook for
some reason.

Any ideas why this might be?

My Office installation was installed from the Action Pack CD and is fully up
to date, but Outlook is an Exchange client and I understand that some
modification takes place when the client computer is added to the domain.
This shouldn't change anything to do with spell-checking, but may be worth
mentioning.
