i recently upgraded to office 03 (from XP), and now every time i try to
insert bullets or numbering, it crashes and i lose all mo work. however, if i
copy the numbers from a different document with numbering, they work fine. is
there any solution to this?

With Word closed, start the registry editor (for example, via Start | Run:
regedit), and then delete the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\List
Gallery Presets key.
