I purchased a Xbox 360 Elite. I was unable to get the Xbox 360 wireless
controllers (white) to work with the Elite. (Only the supplied black one
worked.) The green light on them would just continue to light in circular
fashion in an unsuccessful attempt to connect with the Elite. I'm
embarrassed to ask, but is my old white 360 wireless controller compatible
with the Elite?

Maybe a stupid question, but did you press the pairing button on your X360?
